A bit of history

If the former Marsoui chalet-restaurant near Henley beach housed dynamic businesses for several years (notably the very welcoming Café du parc managed by Lucien Tardif, now retired), this local municipality had been vacant for more than a year when Mandoline Hybride decided to make it its headquarters in July 2022 for the duration of the 3rd edition of FURIES — contemporary dance festival. Given the success of the concept, which offered small dishes to eat on site or to take away, as well as a selection of hand-picked books, the organization decided to occupy the premises all year round!

Today, L’Hybride offers a range of entirely Quebec products, free or low-cost socio-cultural activities as well as teleworking equipment (ergonomic stations, keyboards and mice) and recreational equipment (volleyball net and ball, games pétanques, blankets and beach games), available free of charge.

L’Hybride is powered by the organization Mandoline Hybride, based in Marsoui since 2018.
