During the fall and winter, L\u2019Hybride opens its doors to the community and transforms into a bar! Once a month, the Haute Buvette series spotlights an artist from the Haute-Gasp\u00e9sie region through an intimate gathering that encourages informal exchanges and discussions with the audience.<\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s also a chance to enjoy a warm and welcoming place to socialize, complete with a bar and a small menu. A monthly gathering where you can meet up, discover local artists, and have a great time together in the middle of winter!<\/p>\n\n

This project is made possible thanks to financial support from the Government of Quebec and the MRC de La Haute-Gasp\u00e9sie under the Cultural Development Agreement.<\/p>\n\n

After opening his first art gallery, 1000 Azurs, in 1988 on the Plateau Mont-Royal and exhibiting his works in various galleries, including the Pyramid Gallery in New York\u2019s SoHo neighborhood, Claude Rioux has been back in his native region, Haute-Gasp\u00e9sie, since 1992, where he has begun construction on his second studio-gallery.\u2192 View the Facebook event<\/a><\/p><\/div>

January 2027<\/strong>with Fano Maddix<\/h3>

An Acadian storyteller originally from Moncton, Fano Maddix lives in Cap-au-Renard in the Gasp\u00e9 Peninsula, nestled between the forest and ever-evolving tales. They tell stories in Chiac that are rooted in Acadian folklore but veer into science fiction.<\/p><\/div>

February 2027<\/strong>with Lo\u00efc BL<\/h3>

Lo\u00efc BL writes and performs as a clown. Poetry allows him to connect with the world, and clowning allows him to inhabit the realm of the imagination and explore the sticky crevices of his body.<\/p><\/div>

March 2027<\/strong>with Laurence Dufour<\/h3>

Laurence Dufour, who graduated in 2014 from the dance department at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, is particularly interested in the body as a sensitive and permeable space.<\/p><\/div>
